Weekend Guide: June 13-14

After being cooped up indoors for months, all we want to do is enjoy the outdoors. Here are some things to do indoors & out.

Join a March Against Racism and Injustice

Stand in solidarity for Black Lives and against racism. Bring your signs, masks and sanitizers. This is going to be a peaceful march and rally at Christie Pits Park

SAT 1pm.

Visit a waterfall

There are hundreds of waterfalls within 2 hours of Toronto ranging from small cascades to the world famous trio. Follow the link to 25 waterfalls near Toronto, perfect for a day trip.

Head to 5 Drive-in to enjoy a movie under the stars.

Head to their website to see what is playing.

Watch Promise Cherry Beach Live Online

Cherry Beach would’ve started right about now, but that can’t happen this summer. So we bring us all together in music and in action here online. With some favourite international and local djs to share your Sunday afternoon.

SUNDAY 3-9 PM

Join The Leslieville Flea as we celebrate the start of summer and fathers day with a virtual market in collaboration with Stackt Market

June 7-17

Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival – Virtual Edition

Come together online to celebrate National Indigenous History Month with the Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival – Virtual Edition June 1-21, 2020!

Attend Virtual Pride

Virtual Pride will be a celebration of our local queer and trans trailblazers and will feature a lineup of DJs, performers, drag artists, singers, and dancers; shining a concentrated spotlight on women in music and BIPOC artists.

For schedule head to www.pridetoronto.com

And as always continue to stay connected—have a virtual happy hour with friends, call your grandparents or set up a virtual playdate for your kids.
